The Mount Gilead High School Competition Marching Band finished the 2011 season with a "2" Excellent rating on Friday night at Dublin Jerome High School.
To reach the coveted OMEA State Competition, high school bands must qualify by competing in OMEA local competitions and earning a "1" rating. The MGHS Band this year received two "1" ratings.
